The Town of Bonnyville is looking for engaged, community-minded individuals to serve on its committees. These committees play an important role in local decision-making by providing advice and recommendations to Council on programs, policies, and community priorities. Honorariums are provided.

Current Opportunities

Community Policing Committee

One (1) community member is being sought.

Who Should Apply
You may be a good fit if you:

  • Are a resident of the Town of Bonnyville
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have an interest in community safety and policing matters
  • Are able to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
  • Can attend regular monthly meetings
  • Are willing to complete a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check, in accordance with Alberta legislation
  • Are not a current employee of a police service

FCSS Advisory Committee

One (1) community member is being sought.

Who Should Apply
You may be a good fit if you:

  •  Are a resident of the Town of Bonnyville
  •  Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have an interest in family and community well‑being, prevention programs, and social support services
  • Are able to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
  • Are able to attend regular monthly meetings
