The Town of Bonnyville is a great community and one that continues to grow in prosperity each and every day. It’s why my family, among many others, have called Bonnyville home ever since three waves of Europeans settled in the area between 1907 and 1918. We’re proud of the long and rich history of Bonnyville, which has its roots in fur traders and missionaries.
Bonnyville is a community that is always changing. With that growth comes demands from residents to the local government to keep up with them. That’s why our Council concentrates on economic growth, recreation and wellness, and service excellence. We believe as Mayor and Council that a strong business sector can only be supported if families have programs and services that not only meet their needs but encourage a sense of community.
The Town of Bonnyville remains committed, through our service delivery, community partnerships, and regional collaboration efforts, to support a positive business climate to help position our community for long-term success. Not only do we want to support the families who call Bonnyville home right now, we want to continue to be an attractive location for families who may move here in the future.
I’m committed to help Bonnyville continue to grow and develop over the next four years. Council will continue to make the best decisions for Bonnyville with its residents in mind and to remain as transparent as possible in all our future endeavors. Improving the Town is our top priority and will continue to be so for the remainder of our term.
