BONNYVILLE – The Town of Bonnyville’s 2026 By-Election date has been set to Monday, April 20, 2026.
In accordance with the Municipal Government Act (MGA) and Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA), a bylaw was required to set a By-Election date within 120 days of vacancy.
An advance vote will also be held in accordance with provincial legislation. Details regarding advance voting locations, times, and dates will be shared once Nominations have closed.
The Nomination Period is from February 11, 2026, to March 23, 2026. Nomination Day will end at 12 p.m. (noon) on March 23, 2026. The By-Election Day will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 20, 2026.
