Curbside recycling is coming to Bonnyville this fall, with the first collection scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Here’s what residents need to know before collection begins.
How to Set Out Your Recycling
Recyclable materials should be placed in clear plastic bags for collection. Please ensure containers are empty and recyclables are clean and dry.
Cardboard should be flattened and placed underneath your clear recycling bags.
Have your recycling ready for collection by 7 a.m. on collection day.
What Can You Recycle?
The program accepts a wide variety of household packaging and paper products, including:
- Paper, cardboard and boxboard
- Plastic containers and packaging
- Metal food and beverage containers
- Cartons
- Glass containers
- Foam packaging
- Flexible plastic packaging

Collection Dates
Recycling will be collected every other Tuesday, beginning October 6.
