The holiday season is almost here, and the Town of Bonnyville has three festive events to help you celebrate!
This year also marks the 20th and final year of the Festival of Trees, as the Town looks ahead to new and exciting holiday traditions in 2027. While the Festival of Trees is wrapping up with one final celebration this year, the Festival of Lights and Santa Claus Parade will continue in the years ahead.
Festival of Lights
Friday, November 27 | 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Location: Pontiac Park (4304 Lakeshore Drive)
Kick off the holiday celebrations with the first glow of festive lights along the Jessie Lake Walking Trail! Enjoy hot chocolate, take in the colourful displays and bring your toboggan for some winter fun.
Festival of Trees
Saturday, November 28 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, November 29 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre
Join us for one last Festival of Trees celebration! Enjoy a weekend of holiday activities, including:
- Beautifully decorated themed trees
- Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Community group activities
- 50/50 draw
- Prize trees to be won
Prize Tree Tickets: $10 each or 3 for $20.
Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, November 28 | 5 p.m.
Get into the holiday spirit as the Town’s annual Santa Claus Parade makes its way down Main Street!
Parade Route: Beginning at Player’s Lounge, travelling down Main Street and ending at the Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre.
