Constructed in 1980, the Bonnyville Swimming Pool is an indoor facility that features a 25m main pool and a 3m X 5m teaching pool, hot tub and sauna.For 1998 and 1999, the Lifesaving Society (Alberta, N.W.T., Nunavat Branch) recognized the Bonnyville Swimming Pool for excellence in program delivery. This trend continues with the addition of more adult fitness classes.
The Bonnyville Swimming Pool is open every day of the year with the exception of a brief period from late August to mid September when it is shut down for annual maintenance, and for the statutory holidays of New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day.
