Byron Johnson is a dedicated public servant and lifelong resident of Bonnyville, Alberta. Elected to Town Council on October 18, 2021, Councillor Johnson brings a strong sense of community and a deep understanding of local values to his role.

A graduate of Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS) in 1991, Byron continued his education at NAIT, graduating in 1996. His roots in the community run deep—not only as a student and professional, but also as a passionate volunteer. He proudly played for the Bonnyville Voyagers in his youth and later gave back by coaching the team for over seven years.

Councillor Johnson is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking Bonnyville. His platform emphasizes community engagement, responsible development, and preserving the town’s unique character while embracing opportunities for growth.
