The Town of Bonnyville hereby invites offers to purchase 1 to 3 structures (to be moved) which are legally located on the following lot:

Submissions are to be received by 11:00 a.m. September 16th, 2024.
Sealed Tenders are to be delivered to the Town Administration Office, 4917-49 Avenue and include the following:
- Sealed Tenders are to contain the name and address of the proposed purchaser, as well as the contact information for the individual/agent authorized to answer inquiries regarding the tender;
- Sealed Tenders should clearly state the purchase price offered for each of the structures (including GST);
- Sealed Tenders should include a brief description of the prospective purchaser’s proposed timeline for the removal of the structures;
- All prospective purchasers must provide a deposit in the amount of 10% of the proposed purchase price, in the form of a certified cheque or bank draft immediately upon acceptance of their tender;
- The structures are being sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis. Potential purchasers acknowledge and agree that there are no warranties or representations given by the Town to the Purchaser, either express or implied, relating to all or any portion of the Structures, nor the condition or quality of the foregoing, nor the suitability of the Structures for the purposes intended by the Purchaser. The Potential Purchaser has relied totally upon its own investigation of the Structures and due diligence in submitting a tender;
- The Town may, in its complete and unfettered discretion, consider any or all proposals on the basis of criteria other than price, and reserves the right to select a tender and negotiate a binding agreement on the basis of what the Town considers to be in the best interest of the Town; and
- The purchaser will be required to enter into a Bill of Sale and Removal Agreement satisfactory to the Town. Pursuant to the proposed form of agreement, the purchaser will be required to remove the structures by an agreed upon date that will be listed in the Bill of Sale and Removal Agreement. Should the purchaser fail to meet the removal requirements, the Town shall have the option to repurchase the Structures by way of Option to Purchase at 80% of the Purchasers Price. The Town reserves the right to negotiate and make further changes to the proposed agreement.

In order to give all interested parties an equal opportunity, all submissions received will be held until 11:00 a.m., local time, on September 16, 2024. After that time, the Town of Bonnyville will contact the selected applicant(s) to further negotiate and formalize a Bill of Sale and Removal Agreement.
