The Bonnyville Regional Airport is located 3 kilometers north of the Town of Bonnyville and occupies a land area of approximately 77.63 acres. The airport serves as a point of call for commercial, corporate and general aviation, and services both private and commercial rotary winged and fixed-wing operators located on site. The airport is maintained by the Town of Bonnyville Public Works Department.
Bonnyville Regional Airport is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and is capable of supporting Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations. Runway 08 and 26 have RNAV approaches with Vertical Guidance with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Overlay. Runway 08 only has Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) available. The maneuvering area consists of one runway and a joining taxiway system plus a public apron.
The primary runway is 4,433 feet long by 75 feet wide asphalt.

Summer Season- Monday to Friday From May 1 to September 30. Summer hours will be 0700 - 1500 daily. (statutory holidays not included).
Winter Hours - Monday to Friday from October 1, 2015 or as weather conditions dictate to the 30 of April, 2016 for the hours 0530 - 1330 and 0700 - 1500 from May 1 to September 30 (statutory holidays not included).
Edgar Simard’s duties will include reporting runway surface conditions and daily weather conditions; provide Airport NOT AM concerning Runway Surface Conditions; keep radio contact with incoming and departing aircraft; manage and park aircraft, as needed and to correspond with all aerodrome users.

Bonnie Wood's duties include: Ensuring compliance with Town of Bonnyville Health and Safety Management System as well as Transport Canada Regulations and best industry practice, training and competency of ground crews and third party contractors as well as regular inspections of equipment and buildings, tracking near misses and hazards and responding to accident, incidents and other airport emergencies, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions, sharing the airport wildlife management plan along with any safety alerts with the airport committee and airside community.
RUNWAY CAMERA: For observation of runway condition, a camera can be accessed at IP address 220.127.116.11. Login is user pilot with password bonnyville (Internet Explorer browser is recommended). You can also view on your smartphone by installing the app called TrendnetView and using the above login information.

Lot Lease Rates
a) $0.10 per square foot/annum as the contracts come up for renewal
2. Aircraft Parking Fees - Grass
a) $264.00 per unit per year
b) $150.00 per unit per half-year (six months)
c) $6.00 per unit minimum charge (48 hours) or $12.00 per unit per week
3. Aircraft Parking Fees - Tarmac
a) $15.25 per unit per day (minimum of four hours) OR $150.00 per unit per month
4. Landing and Take Off Fees (Combined fees shown)
a) Turboprops and Turbojets - $88.00
b) Pistons - $65.00 over 3,000 kg
5. Vehicle Parking Fees
a) $5.00 per unit per day.
6. Terminal Building Lease Rates - To be negotiated by Administration as requested.
i. Fees for Section 2 will not be applied to aircraft on a leased lot.
ii. Bonnyville Flying Club recreational members will not be invoiced landing fees as long as a lot lease or aircraft parking fees are
iii. Bonnyville Flying Club commercial members are to be charged the landing fees to a maximum of $500 per year.
iv. Flying School "touch and goes" are not charge
Agricultural spray planes to be charged a maximum of $100 per day.
No fees will be charged for “Fly-In Breakfasts.”
