Family & Community Support Services (FCSS)
The Bonnyville and District FCSS provides preventative social programs such as community workshops, kids programming, parenting support, seniors supports, and client advocacy.
Community supports:
Our community programs support individuals by providing information about local/provincial/federal supports. We often have workshops and events that we host, to keep up to date on our current community programs.
Programs:
- Volunteer income tax program for low-income individuals or families
- Paperwork assistance
- Ongoing educational workshops
- Referrals to supports and resources
Seniors supports:
Our seniors support helps seniors get information and supports regarding seniors’ benefit, Old Age Security, and CPP.
Programs:
- Assistance with seniors Benefit, Old age security, and CPP
- Referrals to supports and resources
- M.D. transportation grant
- meals on wheels

Family supports:
Our family programs support parents through parenting courses, family groups, as well as child centered programming.
