Mayor Ernie Isley was acclaimed Mayor on March 7, 2006 and on October 15, 2007. He brings a wealth of political experience, having served as Principal of Bonnyville Centralized High School for seven years, then as MLA for the Bonnyville area for fourteen years. He served as a Cabinet Minister in a variety of portfolios. He also served as Chair for the Lakeland Regional Health Authority and currently serves as a Board Member for the Aspen Regional Health Authority.
